47: Your second the last one (the last one on page 1 is a DP#1. There is no mistaking the markers of the D/C on the right arm of the T in Victoria and the D/C at leaf 9 from the first lobe to the denticle. The one with the bar on the T was discussed at length on another site 2-3 years ago. It was first thought to be a handpunch to stop the huge D/C that starts at the R in Regina and then travels both ways right through Regina and back through the Gratia. Just like drilling a hole in any piece of steel to stop a crack by ending it on a smooth rounded non-stress point.

This interesting "Saber Tooth" 1859 DP "9" looks like it had a "run in" with a true saber tooth lion.. It's one of my favorites in my 59's..

Oakie, thank you for that. when this was discussed I must have missed it, or not a member. But was the discussion conclusive as to the bar being there to stop the DC? would you please look at the E with the bar in the 8/9 topic? is this bar there for the same reason or is it something else? I am not seeing a DC. Any thoughts about it? https://goccf.com/t/195236Thanks

I really don't remember what the conclusion was on the "T", nor do I remember which site it was on. It's tough to remember stuff after a number of years, especially with country music ringing around between the ears.
As far as the E, I normally didn't pay much attention to lettering doubled's unless very obvious on the Obverse side. I can't say I recollect seeing an E like that, so I don't know.

It's easy to see the DP "5" ,..but it's also an interesting loop or maybe part of a loop ...in the inner top of the 9..
