What Would You Value This Alexander The Great Coin To Be?

I would like to purchase this Alexander The Great coin, but before I do I would like some opinions on what you think it may be worth. The problem with not wanting to "overpay" is that there is no authoritative way to judge the value of an ancient coin. It is like asking "how much is my Picasso worth ?" The only way to find out is to auction it ! I can see one of my favorite sellers asking $350 I can also see one of my slightly less favorite sellers buying it for that and asking $500 ! And I can see my least favorite seller (never bought a single coin off him in 40 years !) asking a cool grand ! It all depends how much you like this one It does have quite a bit going for it too A better question might be "Seller is asking X ....... Does that sound fair ?" Report this Post to the Staff
