I'm with others, this set has the potential to be very popular and sell out fairly quickly.

Nothing "sells out" quickly anymore. It just goes on eternal "backordered" status...

I'm in. Just would hate to be shut out. 75K is not a lot.
And I do think they could have done a simple, bold, clean design for a one year commemoration on the reverse of the dime. I say they still can! (No, they won't, but it's nice to have a positive attitude). It'd be cool to have two circulating 2015 dimes with different reverses.

I love those multi-holders and one with all 3 coins from the set would be perfect

I will keep mine in the OGP. I have no desire for slabs and "70" is just an opinion.

Ordered my UNC dollar earlier today - no muss, no fuss! (Not that I thought there would be a rush for the standalone coins.)

Before you buy this set just ask yourself how many die-hard dime collectors there are... I bet it's far fewer than 75k, but by all means, buy this set if you like it. Remember the SF & WP ASE sets? How many collect ASE? How many sets were issued? And how much are they worth now? Yep, exactly...

No problem. I am not buying them for profit. I am buying them because I want them.

Quote: And how much are they worth now? Don't know; don't care. Like jbuck, profit is not my aim here. Now for investment/business, I would definitely care.

Quote:Remember the SF & WP ASE sets? I do! I own one of each. Quote:How many collect ASE? I'm guessing tens of thousands. Quote: How many sets were issued? Over 250,000 of the SF set, over 235,000 of the WP set. Quote: And how much are they worth now? Does it matter if you enjoy collecting them? IMO, "collecting" coins based purely on their investment potential takes quite a bit of the fun out of building a collection you enjoy spending time with. I place the artistic and historical aspects of a coin well ahead of its potential ROI. (But that's just me!)

^ I couldn't agree more with you. I think flippers will get burned with this set in the long run. I won't buy one as I don't like dimes that much and because I'm running out of space...!

Yep, simply buying one because I really like the silver dollar design and enjoy these types of sets. I'll probably end up getting a 4 coin and chronicles sets this year too but am not too excited about the money I will be spending on mints produced sets this year:)

Nice. Personally I'm still debating whether to get the individual commems.
