That is a coin that has planchet lamination. They usually run in straight lines. Part of the planchet is peeling away from you coin. I found one once that looks like yours.

Not a real high premium coin. It might bring 50 cents unless they are real strong. then they get interesting.

I'm always posting coins, I think are somthing, but turn out to be nothing. In this case you have somthing. But even the nothings we find, help many of us out more than you know.
