Rant: I sure would like to have all my coins in the same binder. I've got everything in one except my silver dollars and eagles, maples, etc... I have pvc-free 20 pocket 2x2 pages. About 120 coins in them. Plenty of blank pages and space. I have 9 silver dollars, and 10 x 1oz silver coins. Ordered a few 2.5x2.5 cardboard flips for all those. They fit just great. Then I order binder pages for them. The binder pages are a different size from the 20 pocket sheets, only about 8 inches across, and they ARE pvc. So, into the trash they went... Now I have a little box with all my silver dollars and 1ozers. No chance in heck of getting them all nice and neat in the same binder with all my other coins. I get a nice warm fuzzy feeling deep inside whenever I pick that little box up and hear all the silver dollars clanking and clashing together. Oh, and I also really enjoyed all the time I spent trying to make silver eagles, and even ordinary old silver dollars fit into 2x2s only to have the staples bust, the cardboard tear, the mylar burst, or the rim of the coin remain exposed despite my efforts. Allow me to reiterate... Edited by scottk 02/07/2015 12:11 pm

You CAN get album pages for 2.5x2.5 flips that have twelve pockets; I have some. These pages are the same overall size as the 20 pocket album pages. This approach is needed for larger medals and coins. Some larger silver rounds would need these, along with 2 ounce bullion coins.
Non PVC album pages for 2.5x2.5's may be hard to find
You can also use standard 2x2 flips for up to dollar sized coins with appropriate hole size, but not for coins larger.

How about tubes for your loose 1oz coins?

You could just glue the coins to a sheet of plastic. Or better yet, go to a hobby store, purchase liquid plastic and cover the coins with that. Hopefully no one thinks that this is serious. Don't know why some company hasn't made a page for 2x2's that would also take the larger size ones too. However, with a little bit of fun you could try making a page yourself out of various types of plastic pages. Lots of clear tape though.

Yeah, my main complaint is that there are not pages for 2.5x2.5s that have a little bit of space in between each pocket, so that they fit nice and neatly with the 2x2 pages that have 5 rows of 4 pockets.
The 2.5 pages just look all out of order if you put them in the binder with 2x2 pages.
Like I'd be browsing through my album, and all of a sudden "oh and here's some of those smaller pages that don't look like the other ones..."

Dansco makes a generic binder, same nice construction as their other binders. They also make generic pages in 40mm, for ASE, Kooks and Libertad, 39mm, for Pandas, 38mm for SML, 37mm for Philharmonics and every silver round in between. One binder for every silver coin/round.

I gave up on putting my Ike's into cardboard 2x2's. The dollar size ones just pop the mylar or gap at the edges. So I got the Lighthouse Encap slabs for them and some pages that hold 9 slabs. Works nice, but you can only get about 4 pages in a 3" binder.

there are specific pages made for coin collecting such as for 2x2 holders etc. Some are pvc and some are archival quality.
but trading cards, gaming cards, postcards , cigarette cards come in different sized pockets per page, many are archival grade quality.
just a thought, Regards...
