I just went to ebay & it seems they have a new format. I'm not opposed to change, but this was not a change for the better. Coins used to be grouped into denominations & from there were split into types. You could call up quarters & then go into SLQ's, or Barbers, or whatever. It used the same format for other denominations. They still have it broken down into denominations, but when you go to quarters your choices are now by date. That sounds like a good idea, but the dates don't follow a logical split. You end up with Bust quarters mixed with Seateds, & SLQ's with Washingtons. I checked on dollars & halves, they were split along the same lines. Has anybody else noticed this? What do ya'll think? It's bad enough you have to watch out for scams, bad pictures, forgeries, etc, now it's hard to even look at a group of similar coins. Most mornings I do a quick check of the type coins I am looking for that end today to see if there is anything I might be interested in, the new format won't make that easy. In fact, it stopped me from making that check today.

Yeh...I noticed the changes yesterday and hate them. It was too difficult to access what I was interested in so I just left. I dislike ebay more and more each day!

I just went to the ebay discussion boards. Looks like a lot of people don't like the new change. However, I did find out this is a "test" so maybe enough people will give feedback that will keep it from being permanent. In the meantime, if you go all the way to the bottom of the page there is an "opt out" selection, which will let you use the old format.

"I dislike ebay more and more each day!" Same here. There has been a few changes on Aus site too. As one poster put it; ebay is becoming easier for me, with more sellers adopting a 'private auction' format... I dont have to even consider placing a bid!

I have to agree this new format is for the birds, I have to just click a subcategory and then type in what I am looking for now instead of going directly to the items that interest me

Go to the bottom of the page and opt-out of the new "search experience", which hopefully they won't shove down our throat.

Wow, Thanks Bobby, the opt out worked. I did get though on the phone and she did not mention that,
I was a Bad test. I did get to go through some of it and I see what they were trying to do, but the search function was really messed up.
Is that test for everyone or just some?
It made it hard and time consuming to navigate which means lower prices on things if they did it in mass.

Not sure, all I know is that all our id's were opted-in without us personally opting-in.

I haven't really messed around with it too much yet, but I don't really like it.

Man, does that new format stink. Why can't I find a job where I can get paid to mess up something that was working just fine?
