Last one. 1926-S...

Let's-See-Your-Nickles

No more nickel photos.

The only reason why I have these is that I took them when I bought them. I need more time and patience to photograph stuff once they are tucked away in their Dansco albums.

How far back are you guys going with a "modern coinage" thread?

I thought that Buffalo nickels and before we're considered "classic"?

I have been wrong before.

I call this my Frankenstein War Nickel.

Whatever is wrong with this coin (Lamination?) it makes poor Mr. Jefferson look like Herman Munster

As far as we want. They are. No problem, this is one of those threads than deserves a wide berth.

Now, if the OP had said "Let's see your Jefferson nickels" instead...

Oh no, now I'm going to have to scan and take pics of all my good nickels!

Just to name a few:

1948 S 5FS found CRHing, at least a solid MS64

1941 D graded by PCGS MS65FS with gold toning I picked up for under $10 :P

3 1950 D's ranging from MS62-MS65

2000 D Capped die nickel

and much more. I'll post some pics when I get around to it =P

I've already posted this one in another forum. However, I would love to show it off here too!
I purchased it about a week ago because I liked the toning.
