Just curious what collectors think about the 1999 State Quarter being apart of a 20th century all type set.

Yes, 1999 was a year in the 20th century.

I haven't looked at any current all type folders or albums, is it included in them?

Batboy, Its going to take me half an hour to clean up what you made me spit onto my monitor. Mally, 1999 coins are included in folders but there is no special place for them in any type sets I am aware of. I assume that you mentioned the quarter because it is the first year of State Quarters?

No doubt. It was a part of the century. Why would you not include it?

I've seen some 20th century type sets use all of the 1999 State Quarters while others just use a single coin to represent the State Quarters, The Edgar Marcus 20th century frame that I have uses just one coin. I also have a State Quarter album though, so I feel I'm covered. Which coins to use in a type set is up to the collector.

i suppose it was a silly question, I had a blond moment. I'm working on a 20th century all type coin board design to have manufactured. I need to add the sacagawea to it too, I just learned the 21st century began Janurary 1st 2001. lol

Yeah, most 20th century type sets also include the 2000 Sacagawea.

I have the 408B and love it. It uses all 5 1999 quarters for a total of 41 coins. I'll try to upload some pics.

I want to make these for resale, same style and color as this franklin board. it will be 11 x14 and a fraction of the cost of the capital. I should have the graphic work and slot lay out done sometime next week. only one slot for the state hood quarter.

Here is what the mine looks like, the frame is solid oak. Note: that is not a photo of mine, it's from an ad selling the frames. If you can wait until this weekend, I'll have the last hole filled (Barber half), so I can take a photo of mine with coins in it. I have three or four coins in the VF to XF range and the rest are AU or better.

This was my first attempt at a type board. I thought it was a good idea at the time. I'm scratching it for a 20th century all type set.

The one I have is 13" X 16" and has 31 coins. Perhaps not a complete set, but I also have a Dansco 7070 album to fill in some of the type gaps. I mainly wanted something to display on the wall since most of my collection is hidden away. Wish I had the ability to make my own display like you're doing. Very nice!
