Picked this up recently. It is an early-generation CGA note from a period when (like PCGS, e.g.) holders were thinner and you could actually see natural paper wave through the plastic - not possible anymore from any service, unfortunately, with today's rigid holders.

This has a clear wave to it.

It is the most common of the Educationals, of course, but somehow it is still my favorite.

Wow! She is gorgious! Prettiest I've seen! I Can't get over how nice it is yet! I went to an old coin store that din't have much currency and didn't know much about currency. They had a $1 educational for $100 and it was VF! Asked him what he would do for it and he said he'd take $90! Picked that sucker up quickly!

Yes, a shame. Bisons, Chiefs, Black Eagles, battleships - one wonders if people back then enjoyed those beautiful notes the way we do now!

I'm a firm believer in "Buy the note, Not the holder", and this Chief has amazing eye appeal for an XF example.

Very nice, faces up (in this scan) even better. Looks like a typical 4-fold. Given the size of these notes, it's a wonder that any of them survived without at least one crease. Nice pick-up.
