I think it would be a good idea to replace Washington on the quarter to the Statue of Liberty and have a new eagle reverse. Being that Washington is already on the dollar note, why not? I mean the dollar note isn't going anywhere anyways.... Even the half dollar would be an excellent choice for this design.

The statue of liberty is already on the dollar coin, isn't it?

Personally, I would prefer Liberty on all denominations, coin and paper.

How about reconsidering Charles E. Barber's pattern?
The Standing Columbia!

Something for everyone:
It has Rays.
It has the Liberty Cap on a Pole.
It has 13 Stars.
It has "In God We Trust".
It has the Eagle.
It has "LIBERTY".
It has the Sword.
It has a space for the Date.
The reverse could have the denomination and
the Motto "E Pluribus Unum".

That his most 'boring' proposal was adopted did not mean the
man lacked vision.

Oh, what could have been ...

Neutrality is no fun.

If you had to pick a side, which one would you prefer? Keep Washington or replace him with Liberty?

It is okay to say you would not mind either way, but one just has to interest you more than the other.

Replace him with Liberty, Washington himself didn't want his bust to be on the coinage.

Kind of sounds like 2 reverses, and no obverse,
