Thanks, lol Figured we might run into each other some time. I take it as a compliment. Was a bit zealous, those ebay bucks can really burn a hole...

yes they do! I think Celtic will like your coin better than my 1845 scudsy. Nice pickup.

Nice small date. It appears to be an N-3. The pics are rather poor. It never ceases to amaze me that sellers take such poor pics. Then they probably groan when a coin like this sells for so little. Anyway, back to your small date. The sharpness is a nice VG-10. 1840 N-3 R.1 10/10. Don't mind Jerry. He's just moping because I dissed his 1845.

Thanks all. Celtic, yea, thought it was probably N-3 or 4. Thanks for sorting it out. I agree, hard to see the point of curl in the pic.

I have to agree with everyone on VG-10. It's posts like this that make me want to get a lerge cent Dansco and make a date set. Maybe later when I get stuck on my ancient Chinese and US type sets...

Watch it TypeCoin. Copper gets in your blood! It's like picking up smoking or some other expensive habit.
