jdbarrick Valued Member United States 350 Posts	Posted 05/18/2015 3:39 pm Earle, I used vinegar and course salt in a glass and allowed it to sit for 2 hr intervals. After each soak I gently brushed the coins surfaces with a soft bristle tooth brush. I continued the process for about ten cycles over the next week or so until I reached a point where I was no longer comfortable continuing the restoration.
