I have looked but I only see bronze. It is definitley Silver 5.1g 25mm. If you could enlighten me t would be greatly appreciated thanks Report this Post to the Staff

Athalbert Pillar of the Community Spain 629 Posts	Posted 04/14/2015 6:47 pm ...so the question for research becomes "what else was being struck at San Francisco that year?" 5 grs is the appropiate weight for the unit of the "Latin Monetary Union" (France, Belgium, Italy and Swiss), this weight standar was followed by a lot of countries that were not part of that union (Spain, Venezuela, Chile etc.) Perhaps your San Francisco Mint was working in coinage for a south america country?
