I'm pretty sure I paid about that much for the 1898 of that type, with a big cross-shaped scratch across the portrait. So I'd say you did OK.

A bit below melt.

Good buy, if you are into British 'Two Bobs' (Florins).
I am a little concerned about those dark patches on the eyebrow, cheek and veil.
Should do a comparative ring tone test against another known genuine .925 siver two bob.

I have a World type set of about 60 British and British Commonwealth two bobs, F to Unc.
