I know these are really low grade, but I'm a sucker for silver coins. I'll ask anyways because I am trying to train myself to grade coins.

What grade would you give them? G4? lower?
(The left coin in the obverse photo is the left coin in the reverse photo as well)

Just off the top of my head, G4 for the 1928, and AG3(maybe 4) for the '29.

Shot on a table next to a window? Looks like incandescent light from the left and sunlight from the right. Not a bad thing; just threw me off for a moment.

Wait, why's that coin blue?

I think I would go for AG-3 for both of them. The obverse of the 1928 would be worthy of a Good, but the reverse is worn just a bit too much into the letters for a G-4 in my opinion, although it is very close....
