Another 'details' coin to sharpen your (EAC) grading skills - how would you net grade this C-3 after proper deduction for surface issues.

It has obvious surface issues, but a nice coin nonetheless. The graininess
is primarily confined to the reverse, as can be seen.

Thank you for your opinions.

EAC? close to a G6 grade, most TPGs today might go VG10 details maybe even a F12 details. Another worthy coins Germanicvs!

Looks like VG08, but with a deduction for the surface issues I'll G06 net.

I'd love to have one of these left facing jobbers.

VG10 details. Some porosity obverse particularly around the eyes nose and neck. Reverse has a little more. Overall the coin has beatuiful details with good honest wear. Net G6 sounds right not less than that

From an EAC standpoint I will agree with the majority here. VG-8 sharpness net graded to G-5. (Yes in the EAC there is such a thing as G-5). Another fantastic coin GERMANICVS.

What a glorious coin!!

Net grade: G-4, but that grade is really pretty meaningless. I don't know anyone who would not jump at the chance to own this beauty.

GERMANICVS, your collection astounds me. Truly.
