look out for the 74 DD and any of that are 2002 or more. Those were NIFC. also the 1970 and 1987 were NIFC, only proof sets.

that giant penny is a pre decimal engligh penny, they dont circulate at all any more in the uk. I know the older ones are worth a premium (1930 is worth like 5 bucks I think) but I dont know what one that knew would be worth. Definately save it though if its not worth somethiing now it will be in the not so distant future.

I need your help guys. Would you say that WLH in general are a steal at 7.00 a coin or not?

I wouldn't call them a steal unless you are wearing a ski mask or are trying to open the safe On a more serious note, if they are better than just Good condition I would say you are probably safe on most of them. Numismedia shows all WLH with at least a $7 value in Good

Hey everyone...just wanted to let ya'll know that I got skunked. I opened 2 more boxes of halves and got nothing. Oh well, I will try another box next week. Has anyone ever had any luck getting boxes from Bank of America?

I guess it depends on where you live. There are twelve Fed Reserve Banks over the country. Halves from each Reserve Bank would be different. Some members here also claim that which truck company the local BofA is using may make a difference.

Im not sure where you guy's live, but if it's in a more populated area, there's bound to be many banks around. From what I hear from poster's, and my own personal experiance, box's should be a last resort. Get on google, and get a list of banks in your area, call them all, and find out what there holding (most are more than happy to get rid of them). I would venture to say that this method produce's at least 10x the result's. Be especially mindful of bank's with smaller amount's (less than $300), these are usually more fruitful than larger amounts (larger amount's are often dump's, but are still worth checking). I almost never get skunked, and sometimes even find full roll's of silver (usually 40%, but still good). While your at these bank's, they might even check there drawer's, I have found forty's and nintey's this way. Best of luck, happy hunting.
P.S. If you live near Hampton roads VA, don't bother, I already got them all!
