NorthShoreMA Valued Member United States 168 Posts	Posted 05/08/2026 8:46 pm I have gone almost five months without finding a collection "dump" in boxes that contain BWRs of half dollars. The drought finally ended today. This morning I called a Chase branch that previously never had any half dollars. But this time the teller told me the bank had a box of half dollars that a different customer had ordered but never purchased. I knew it was a good box as soon as I opened it because I saw several silver "enders". This Brinks box had four of them (all Kennedy half dollars that contain 40% silver). I found 17 more silver half dollars in the box (fewer than I had hoped would be in the rolls). But I shouldn't complain too much about finding coins that contain three ounces of silver. I asked the bank to order two more boxes next week. If I am lucky, I will tap into more coins from this collection "dump". Report this Post to the Staff
