1883-CC Morgan Original Mintage: 1,204,000 This is the more common '83-CC, with interesting peripheral toning. Currently in TPG plastic, but would like to hear any opinions here on CCF. Thanks for looking! -Ron Edited by Night-Hawk 04/27/2015 2:11 pm

Nice album toning. I'm gonna say ms64+ with a shot at ms65... I'm on the fence about buying an 83 cc with some amazing color coming up soon but I alrady have a gsa. You may have just pushed me into it though like d700 and his 83o

For those who can't look at a Morgan without attributing, see if you like this one for VAM-5B. Easy MS64. I believe the stuff on the cheek is a little bit exaggerated by the imagery - it's a little too "dark" in the images to be conclusively the deeper marks which detract - so if it's in an MS65 slab I won't disagree with the grade. I can't quite entertain MS66 for it. Tremendous eye appeal, and it wouldn't last long if it ever hit the market. Like, about 5 microseconds. It makes a strong argument between cleanliness and eye appeal for whatever grade it's been assigned.

Well, we know that 755,000 were in the GSA sales alone.

Picked it up on GreatCollections yesterday, paid FMV (I think). No one else bid on it.. No fair peeking if you haven't guessed a grade http://www.greatcollections.com/Coin/225465

It is my opinion that you're the only one who didn't miss something.

Um, me and yes I like 5B. It seems they've been able to straighten out the '83 CC VAM listings since I was in there a while back. It used to be a real
