Another "C" mint coin for your viewing pleasure! ...from a collection inherited from my father. It recently returned from NGC. How would you grade it?

Nice coin, now, I know my prediction will likely be wrong but I'll call it VF-30 Details, cleaned. NGC is VERY lenient with early "D" and "C" mint gold, they probably called it problem free XF-40.

VF25 to me but as zxcccxz says NGC is much more lenient on Charlotte and Dahlonega gold So VF30/35 with a clean grade won't surprise me either.

I'm seeing what's probably a problem-free VF30.

Thanks for the nice comments.

It was graded NGC VF35, and CAC liked it for a green bean!
