Show Us Your Hard Times Tokens

I recently added this HT-73 to my collection as an upgrade. It's such a well designed token that I got curious about the maker. Bowers' new book gave no insight in that regard, but my old Rulau book named E. Hulseman. In checking further, I learned that enraver and diesinker, Edward Hulseman, gets the credit. He also designed the 1847 Hawaiian Cent. The 1837 and 1839 NY City directories list him working at 80 Nassau Street.

Thanks, Dar. It may have been cleaned at one time, but the devices are sharp, and there's some attractive toning that my pic couldn't capture.

I like it, shows someone else used and enjoyed it.
