Quote: probably not a Seated dollar but one of the other three! That probably describes my next purchase as well. I might take a break from the 7070 when I hit the next coin show. I will definitely look for the five, but if I find nothing I will try to fill some of my remaining Indian Head cent holes (the ones that are not the big two).

Quote: Wow, KenKat! That's an incredible set. In your Lincoln cents, I cant help but notice that 1909-S is missing- I found one of those in an old Whitman album that was given to me by a relative 4 or 5 years ago. Unfortunately, it has a poorly done, ugly cleaning job. The pictures of the Lincoln set are way out of date. I've been focusing a lot on the Lincoln set lately - I have added an 09-S and 14-D in VG condition and a 31-S in MS63RB. In addtion, I've upgraded most of the rest of the set to uncirculated (mostly red-brown) - except for just a small handful of early S-mints (13-S, 15-S, 17-S, 18-S, 26-S, 27-S) which I still want to upgrade from brown circulated coins. Then maybe an 09-S VDB. Been meaning to take new pictures but life always seems to have other plans...

My Intercept Shield type set album is comming along nicely but I have only been at it for a couple of months. I have almost filled all the "less exepnsive" slots and now the completion will go forward more slowly as each piece becomes more expensive. But I am trying to have a consistent and logical looking set so I have have to be patient.

Oh man... love GR's photos. You always know you are getting a treat. :D Very nice set and one I aspire to collect someday! Very nice grades too. I especially like the Seated dollars. They may be my last to acquire though.

Certainly one of the more amazing collections I've had the pleasure of seeing. Simply gorgeous I'm betting it may not be in it's final incarnation but have to say Well Done Sir

Quote: Nice set there! Especially like the 1837 half. Thanks. I love half dollars, and that's probably my favorite coin in the whole album. Not the most expensive, though. ( Seated dollar) Quote:probably not a Seated dollar but one of the other three! Dollars really do shoot up in price when you get to Seated Liberty. Mine's the most expensive coin in the album ($295, the rest are kinda cheap ) and it still looks bad. It was the cheapest Seated dollar I could find at the entire PNNA show a couple years ago.

My entire 7070 album can be seen here. I've digitally recreated the entire album to allow me to add a bunch of types that "should" (in my opinion) have been included but weren't. It's an ongoing project.

GR, that is one beautiful set. Wow. And barryg, absolutely beautiful coins, beautiful pictures and a beautiful presentation. Really top notch - like reference quality stuff there.
Never get tired of looking at people's 7070's no matter what grade or state of completion.
