Quote: I am trying to put together a complete set of Canada flag coins, to do so I am going to have to pay the piper. I think that it will be a great set, will make a custom display case for all. It has been a bit of a challenge to get all of them up to this point. Congrats on the 250th post milestone! A complete set of coins commemorating Canada's flag would make for a nice set. Are you limiting yourself to 2015 -dated coins or are you also including the multiple 2005 SD issues?

Hi commems, thanks . I am going to do the whole issue 2005 40th and the 2015 50th, plus the other silvers and 1 gold from this year. I have everything up to this point (I think) in time plus a couple other medals with the flag that I have found along the way. Have I missed anything ?

Quote: Have I missed anything ? Imo, if you define your set as "50-th Anniversary of Canada Flag" - your set will be complete without 2005 SD coins. But if you already have them - yes, why not. Added: Canada Day quarters came to my mind. As this one for example: 2006 Canada Quarter Colorized Flaghttp://www.ebay.ca/itm/2006-Canada-...em5675c3a6ccYou have to check other years too.

Quote: Have I missed anything ? Have you included the 1990 gold $200 which commemorated the flag's 25th anniversary?

$159.00 for what amounts to around $40 worth of silver and not a low mintage. I'll pass. Pick it up later for less than issue

If your inclusion criteria is that Canada's flag must be visible on the coin vs. be the primary subject of the coin, then you'll also have to consider: - 2008 Silver $50 and gold $500 coins for centennial of RCM; the Canadian flag is seen flying atop the Ottawa Mint building - 2011 Silver $10 Highway of Heroes coin: flags are seen draped from the bridge over the highway - 2014 silver $20 Canadian Space Agency coin; the flag is seen on the arm as part of "Canada" logo - 2015 Exploring Canada series, Space Exploration coin: the flag is seen on the arm as part of "Canada" logo
