This feature is incuse. It does not appear to be PMD, but I guess it is possible. Could this have been a depression in the planchet prior to striking? The coin weighs 2.55g    Edited by Pete2226

I just discovered that this cent has a slight rotation - about 10 degree CW.   Edited by Pete2226

It looks raised on my in. Optical illusions bite me all the time.  If incused I would think struck through or watch for a defatted gas bubble as well. Rookies thoughts. Thanks, Doug. PS: Rotation though not high degree is a bonus. |

On the topic of rotations...I found the 1994 cent that is notorious to have about a 165* rotation. The cool part about it was it was found detecting. That's why I always check even my zincoln's. UNC details Edited by CoinHuntingDrew
