Has anyone else notice that the 2015 High Relief silver medal has disappeared from the Mint's schedule?

I was wondering where the silver piece had gone...

let me tell you, if I wasn't a poor college kid and just happened to have the extra money to afford gold, I'd be all over that thing.

The silver medal was to be issued on an ASE blank but with the high relief fields would have to be smaller in diameter than the ASE. Probably technical challenges with the silver medal caused it to be yanked off the calendar and rescheduled for next year?

I'm a huge fan of this design, best in many years IMHO. I'm hoping gold drops to make this one more affordable, but either way it'll be a tough bullet to bite for me.

I wouldn't be surprised if this high relief gold coin sold for more than the current gold Buffalo at $1540.

I just can't get into high priced unlimited mintage items....yes it's gold but everyone who wants one will get however many they want....
Collectors yes, investors nope.....
Edited to add: oops, just saw the mintage limit is 50k

Since the silver issue is being shelved, any idea if this might increase demand for the gold one?
I haven't done the scramble for limited mintage products from the mint before, I just want to make sure I can get one. 50K seems like a ton though (actually a little over 1.7 tons) to sell out quickly but I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

Well, not having the silver option means one less thing on my want list and no high relief purchase for me. All for the best I suppose, with four more C&C sets left to buy.

What's up with having two pairs of initials on both the obverse and reverse? And "JK" (means just kidding in texting lingo)right next to "God".

I must be in the distinct, small minority, because I just am not in love with this design. Yet I see it receiving all kinds of accolades from other posters and the advisory committees and such.... I'm a collector first and foremost, but I may not pick up this coin. Regardless of the mintage, I figure that I had better find it absolutely appealing and a nice addition to my collection if I am going to shell out four figures for it. Is anyone else out there on the fence/indifferent about this coin?
