Quote:Boy these guys look UGLY in anacs slabs imo... 221829470595 BUT the dollar is in an edgeview holder. Now if I could just get them to use that for my next submission I could get my partial collar triple clipped Kennedy slabbed for a fair price and into a slab that would do it justice but I think they only use these "conventional" looking slabs for special shopping network clients.

Quote: Started on 6/30 at $129 and sold nine.. Upped the price on 7/5 to $159 and sold some more Upped the price two days ago to $169 and sold a set Upped the price yesterday to $179 and sold another Presently the price is $185 and he has three left
40 sets sold at increasing prices... FYI: Those three at $185 are gone.... ...and...MCM has three NGC 70's up for auction (every other day) so they are starting to show up and MAYBE we can see a beginning market price for these

They're doing it right. Waiting for a somewhat stabilized price then dripping them out ever so slowly to not saturate the market and keep prices as high as they can. Also, I think pcgs is "up" to a pop of 10x 70s.

PCGS 19... 70's 328... 69's None lower...probably because of the "big boy's" minimum grade submissions... NGC updated on Thursday but still no POP's for these....frustrating

I knew you would have the updated numbers fox. I'm still torn on which to sub too. I think I'm gonna crack my rp's and carefully examine them and if I think at leat one will make a pcgs 70 I'll go with them. Can you do one of your fancy comparisons on pcgs/ngc 69s & 70s. From what I'm seeing the $18 per coin might be worth it but with those numbers that's what 17:1 69/70 not including non slabbed subs

Not enough data (none from NGC) and not enough sales to do an appropriate comparison. All that can be said is what they sold for yesterday...might be totally different tomorrow and 3 weeks from now when submissions are returned. THAT's when a comparison can be made and more realistic prices will develop. Example: that PCGS 70 that is a BIN at $25 large won't go anywhere after the $3600 sale a couple of days ago..and that most likely will drop again... Watch the three MCM sales that are all over $800 now Another issue is that some graded sales include the medal and some don't which makes it a PIA to compare... Just the PCGS RP69 (FS) can be had for a low as $163.50 (most $173-179) Most NGC sales include the medal and recent sales were $225 and $230 I will add (again) that I am impressed on how the raw sets have been holding and increasing their sales price... If the raw hangs in the $180-190 range it would be a "Duh" to bother with RP69 that sell for less and cost cash to grade. So think hard on how to deal with those PCGS RP69's that you paid the premium to grade If it becomes a 70 and raw market then all those 69's you get back will be cost ineffective...so....maybe go with a TPG that MIGHT get you an additional (or a single) 70 back... Don't forget a LOT of coins were submitted to PCGS and just 19 got 70 grades...what do you think YOUR chances are?

I knew you were gonna tell me what I knew but didn't wanna hear fox With ngc do I HAVE to submit at least 5 coins under economy service? And if I send 1 or 2 through error service is ngc like pcgs where I have to sub under a separate subition form? If I go ngc I have to do it by monday/tuesday. Clock is ticking

Of course you know the more that get the 70 pedigree will drop the value significantly. Not at first but in due time the prices will usually trend downward. Then I may need to get one from one of you then. lol.

Ok, if read it correctly ngc error service is just a paid addition to the test you submit the coins through at $12 over. If that's correct it seals the deal for me. I will be going ngc!... their sub rules seem much more lax and "user friendly" than pcgs

And yes for the modern you need 5 coins an the tier above that I think. I forget which one it was to have no minimum but it was the $30/coin tier if you didn't have 5

Ya I'm not worried about that. Since error service is not a different submition I'll have enough without adding. I'll be adding error service to 1 rp & 1 medal. Fingers crossed!... I'm just happy to have made my decision

PCGS website says they only accept coins in Mylar flips. Does that mean I have to break mine out of the case to send in for grading?

I have a question. The coin Guru on HSN has graded 100 sets at RP/MS 70. I realize that ANACS is not the same par as PCGS or NGC. Will this have any effect on the price of the RP 70 Truman Dollars?
