I guess that brings the population down to 16,998 for the sets. Sorry to hear about that, I would be...well...very upset.

Quote: It's official...I will not be receiving my 2 sets I ordered. Fed-Ex lost them in transit. Fed-Ex didn't even powder coat it. They said, "Yup we lost your package, sorry about your luck, get a refund". According to the production figures, the mint still has 150 sets. Considering yours is lost, they should replace it. I think you need to wait 4 or 6 weeks until they officially consider it lost. I'd call the mint.

@One50: Sorry to hear about the package. Definitely talk to the Mint and try to get the replacement set and don't accept a refund as an alternative.
I still haven't fill out the forms to send my coins in yet. I gotta do it tomorrow and have them in the mail by Friday.

Remember this dude with the multiple sets with increasing prices: Quote:
Quote: Started on 6/30 at $129 and sold nine.. Upped the price on 7/5 to $159 and sold some more Upped the price two days ago to $169 and sold a set Upped the price yesterday to $179 and sold another Presently the price is $185 and he has three left
40 sets sold at increasing prices...
FYI: Those three at $185 are gone.... Well 2 more sold at $199 (7/19 and 7/22) and he increased to $209 with 2 available. Let's see where it stops

Be kind, but ask for a supervisor if the first person tells you there's nothing that they can do. You should be put ahead of all others if a few more become available.

There is another dude that has sold 44 sets with similar increasing prices... He now has "more than 10 available" but has bumped his BIN to $229.50 from $189 Let's see how he does... I should add...this is an aberrant coin since this is the time when the "flood" hits the market and prices SHOULD fall...but...they keep going up... I guess the "flood" is a trickle.... and 17k IS pretty small Sealed box of 5 just went off at $999

If this is the way it's going for this set, I'm going to hold on to my Ike sets for a while.

So, I am working on filling out the NGC submission form and this is my first time doing this so I am a bit unfamiliar.
I want to submit 4 of the Truman Reverse Proofs and 1 March of Dimes Set Reverse Proof Dimes. I also want the Truman Reverse Proofs to be designated as Early Release, but obviously the March of Dimes Reverse Proof cannot be. Do I need to fill out two submission forms? If I just fill out one and select the early release designation, will I be charged $5 for Early Release on the Reverse Proof dime even if it doesn't qualify?
Also, if I want the special label for the Reverse Proof Dime, do I need to designate anything or will it automatically be the default?

I have same question as corey.
I am planning to send my 4 sets/coins in (the 5th one is on hold for welder) + some MoD RP coins too. I also consider sending in some EU Native American $1 too.

This is what I have. For my purposes is this correct? I believe the special label for the March of Dimes RP costs $5 as well, but will it be a problem that the whole thing is marked as "Early Release"?

Quote: Only a week with economy tier Is that normal for ngc? Pcgs is like a month Modern tier My MOD sets were graded in a week also...almost takes longer for the friggin registered mail to get back to me than the whole grading process...I should add that they hang in quality control for a couple of days though Re: NGC submission form... Use the online form..much easier and kinda prompts you along Log in to NGC Collectors Society here: http://www.ngccoin.com/collectors-society/Choose "submit now" Drop down menu to "Submit coins" Choose "NGC US online submission form" Choose "Modern"... Under "label" choose "other" and type in FDR and Truman (or whatever) labels"..a bit confusing with multiple special labels but they will figure it out I would also choose "early Release" and the coins eligible will get that designation... Near the end of the form there will be a box for comments...here I would repeat your Label requests and add "ER if eligible" You will pay the $5 extra for the special label and ER will be included if appropriate as part of the deal "Print all subforms" will get you 4 copies and you send three with the order The online form also registers an immediate submission order number and they will follow up when it is received and shipped. You can also check your order status to see how it is progressing... Everything is at NGC Collector's Society and your submission data and results will be available at any time in the future Quote:
