Quote: I don't know how you will tell which coin is Welder's when they return...I guess your coins will be the 70's welder will get his set raw. Before the price spike, I offered one set for him (he posted that he missed out), this set that I saved for him is from the order of 5 that my brother did (he sold the other 4 already but I was able to pick out one set and save for welder). Sorry for the confusion.

Actually if they are truly lost that total figure will be 16,996 as I actually ordered 4 sets, 2 for me and 2 for my boss. He pays me back, we collect mint coins together. It's fun chatting about new mint products at the office. I did contact the Mint and they did state that they would REPLACE the product or should the product be "sold out" they would issue a refund. I have been holding out filling out the form the mint sent me via email, hoping my coins were at the bottom of the bin as suggested. But now I think I better fill out the form in case they have a few extra sets laying around. They may replace them if I act quickly. Best scenario: I fill out the form, they send me replacements. Months later, I get another package all beat up with my original order.

I think the odds on getting coins at this point are about Nil... I don't expect they'll go looking far and wide in the warehouse for coins on a sold out set and will just generate the refund.

CoinHorder64: Nice catch on that 70 ...and speaking of 70's...those two MCM NGC RP70's went for $1324 and $1388 This should be when they start to drop...let's see if the next set stays above $1100

I don't look at the grades until the slabs are in hand...and I draw it out like a game...one at a time...slowly...70 after 70...on and on..

I've got 20 of these and I cant decide whether or not to send them out for grading. They're all still sealed up in the shipping boxes they came in.
