Might be worth hanging on to any 2007 50¢ you find until final mintage figures are available. Last years RAM annual report says only 1.847 million produced in first half of year. If second half production is not substantially larger that will make 2007 50¢ a hard coin to find in future. Not as scarce as 1985 or 1993 but, just possibly, scarcer than 1973 or 1997.

I wouldn't - I have been getting at least one every couple of day. Unless a huge amount of them are circulating only in NSW, I'm getting a bomb lot of 2007 50 cents coin here in circulation and they are in the worst condition I have ever seen considering it's age. Most of them are looking a lot worse than the 2006 coins that I find. How that works is beyond my understanding.
