It does look normal. If the color looks off to you try putting it on a white sheet of paper and then take the pic.Play with the photo till the background is white then post that pic. Very nice looking coin !

You're right CoinHuntingDrew I don't think I've come across one(or any older coin) in this condition or color; not bad for a 36 year old coin huh?.

Rayof315, the whole coin is that color(yellow-goldish hue) but playing with the light, I found some areas darker than others.

I posted a couple more pics, hopefully these are good enough to tell the color difference:

Post it in Modern Grading. I'm sure it's at least a 64-65

It does have some nice toning. Not everyone likes it, but I like toning on a coin like yours is showing. Kind of like growing old gracefully.
