Three banks in turn of the century Tampa, in three different TPG holders.

I was in Yakima once, about 25 years ago, and I sort of felt like Brian Dennehy was going to roll up and arrest me.

Nice notes Steve; Especially the Exchange National. Those are some bold signatures.

I also like this pair. Not GEM, but nice eye appeal.

I love them. Especially the $1000 LGS! Nice serial number.

Steve - super notes. hajduk - beautiful, and I am envious, but to be honest the obverse centering on your note is not even close to the 66 that sold on Heritage, imho.

Conifrog Yes, you are in right. But I overrule the PCGS or PMG rules. For me, the centering is not so importnant. Why? The centering is the resultat of the production. My bill has sharp edges, like a new bill. The heritage bill has a round edge at the top right and I can see small wrinkles. Exactly in the white box on the back, I can see that. I also see stains on the back. These things are not the result of the production. That is the result of wear. But for a clear judgment you must have both bills in your hand. Both are pretty and the differences are marginal.

You could be right. I am not a big fan of PCGS currency grading compared to PMG, for sure, but I think the skewed centering on your note (assuming it is uncirculated and PQ paper) would limit it to a 64 at best from either service, and possibly only 63. The margins are virtually gone at top right and bottom left. We are friends, and I am only trying to be objective. Will you submit this to a TPG to settle the issue?

Hi Coinfrog, You're right. The best is a discussion with friends. So we can learn more about our hobby.
