Ironworkers design for the 2015 NA dollar struck me as an odd choice when it was announced in 2014.
Now the mint offers this set along with 911 dollar bills.
I wonder how long they had been planning this one and what other future designs are already laid out to "create" new products and sets.

These go on sale in little over a week. Why is the product page just a placeholder? Are they going to publish the pictures the night before it goes on sale?

Have any of you seen any articles confirming the West Point rumor? I think that they coins will easily go up in price within a year or two, but that is just because they have a relatively cheap price. I have trouble seeing these go for much more than $25-30 in the near future. If the mint keeps on churning out these new finishes, the mint may become another variation of the Canadian Mint. I do hope that's not the case.
From a marketing standpoint, it would be smart for the mint to either keep RP and EU finishes for special occasions with equally special low mintages, or the mint could intentionally let one "slide through" with a very low mintage like the Truman and Ike sets. These sets have definitely refueled manys interest in the Mint's products, but that interest will only continue if they let out a rare set like these once every year or two (or even less often preferably).

I think the Mint will continue to crank out the EU coin once a year and make it into a series. This is the best way to get more $$$ from collectors (their short term goal).

They go on sale at noon today and this thread has gone over two days without a post. Any interest in these at $14.95 and the 90k mintage limit?

No interest.
I might be tempted, but I have three presidential C&C sets remaining. I also want to get something for the 7070 this year.

I think these are winners at the price. For comparison, the 2000 Millennium Set (has Sacagawea dollar, ASE and dollar bill) had a mintage of 75k. The sets bid and ask for $90 and $100 respectively on the grey sheet. Discounting about $50 for the ASE and you're still at a minimum of $40. Of course the mintage of this set will be 15k greater, so you have to discount some for that too.
