I have two double profiles I saved, recently ive been reading that it could be mechanical but line in the chin has kept me from believing so. lets see what you guys think.

there is doubling on IGWT but I cant get the right lighting to photograph, more so on coin 1 than on coin 2.

They way to tell is to look at the outside edge of the bust. If it is there, then it is machine damage. If it slightly inside, then it is a doubled die. Here is how you can tell from images of both:

Note the one on the right is step like on that area? That is machine damage. I'm seeing the same thing on your coin.

MD adds no value what's so ever. I wouldn't list it as MD

There are some instances where MD actually does add value, even though it is quite distasteful to those who study Numismatics!

A quick search of sold listings on ebay attests to that:

There are a few at the top of this list.

I suppose I am stirring up trouble to make that observation!

Something that has me looking closer at the DDO is the doubled eye. I never noticed that before. (check image above on the left side)
