In your opinion are high premiums going to hurt ASE sales if silver prices continue to fall? The local dealers in my area want spot + $5 for Silver Eagles and they don't seem to be selling many currently.
I personally can't see myself paying high premiums on ASE. I like to stack some rolls if the price dips right, but it not a must have. I'll just get maples and the like for less until someone brings their ASE premiums back down.
I'm used to $16-$18 average on 1 oz of bullion. Highest recently was Britannias and ASE. Although when you count the actual weight on junk silver, I end up paying about $20/pure oz. As long as ebay can keep the premiums tight, the LCS can't get too crazy or people will do the extra hassle to wait for their cheaper bullion to arrive in the mail. Right now I bounce back and forth as long as the LCS can keep spiking some interesting finds.
