It looks as if you got two weeks worth to make up for the bummer last week.

Nice finds! Especially the Norwegian Kroner are a true bargain at that price!
Be careful with Ole Bull, that one already costs quite a bit when you buy it from a coin shop.

I couldn't make it to today's market and actually look around. I had to pick up a friend at the airport and I spent the day with him. We did pass the market but since it's out of my friends' interst, I wouldn't bother them. I might not make it next week either, but we'll see.

Maybe some stuff will have accumulated and you will have an extraordinary haul next visit.

You know, it's never bad to at least give it a try and get the friend interested in this hobby. They sell other stuff there, too. Maybe he's interested in a souvenir from Stockholm? Also, I do know that Flygbussarna and the Arlanda expressen have great service into the city. Better to have your friend on one of those and spend you time on the Sunday market instead...

Just as I feared, no report this week.

I'm awfully sorry, I had an overnight trip to Gothenburg, second largest city here in Sweden with friends and as it goes, I completely forgot about my hobbies. The train left very early so there was no time for a market. I'll have to make it up with a visit next week, regardless of the weather

I was expecting it, but did not want to to be true. No matter, I hope next week gives you an extraordinary haul!

Maybe not so fruitful as set up but I'm pretty sure the afternoon rain scared away some sellers from today's market. Nonetheless, I ended up with 12 coins, all for 24 SEK. 1 Peso, Chile 1933 5 Escudos, Chile 1972 1 Peso, Chile 1975 10 Pesos, Chile 177 10 Öre, Sweden 1953 25 Öre, Sweden 1955 50 Paisa, India 1985 1 Rupee, India 1983, 1990 & 1991¨ 10 Rappen, Switzerland 1937 The stench of sewage seems to be back but not as bad as before I'm pretty sure the 'good' season is coming to an end, as the weather's been pretty bad lately and autumn is closing in. Oh well

Nice finds again! I really hope to make it to that market one day (and thanks for the warning, I'll bring some gas mask), as you really keep on finding nice and interesting coins there.
I certainly do hope it's not the weather that scares away the market sellers. The weather has largely been the same here. I certainly hope that summer will make a comeback, also because I still need to finish a few things on my house before winder comes.

At least you did not come up empty handed again. I would still call that a nice batch though.

Well, another Sunday down and I got more this time. However, things seem to slim out as of now. Few sellers actually have coins and some of the "heavier" sellers seem to have changed their merchandise to more, normal "old junk". Oh well. Hopefully there will be some new arrivals soon. 10 Pesos, Chile 1956 2 Centesimos, Chile 1967 1 Escudo, Chile 1972 50 Escudos, Chile 1974 100 Escudos, Chile 1974 5 Centavos, Chile 1975 (2x) 10 Centavos, Chile 1975 10 Centavos, Chile 1978 50 Centavos, Chile 1975 1 Peso, Chile 1990 & 1991 5 Centimos, Venezuela 1977 10 Centesimos, Uruguay 1976 20 Haleru, Bohemia and Moravia 1941 100 Yen, Japan 1 Rupee, India 1985 2 Rand, South Arica 2003 5 Rand, South Africa 2002 50 Pfennig, Germany 1992-J 2 Mark, Germany 1973-G & 1977-D 1 Dirham, Morocco 1968 & 1969 (2x) 25 Cents, Barbados 1973 1 Dollar, US 1922 Today's total was 250 SEK, unusual for me to spend that much there, but you could probably guess it's because of the Peace dollar, for 200 SEK. Another nice find from what could be considered a "shady" seller. I had to do some authenticating at the spot, luckily my phone case has a magnet in it (it didn't stick or react). Weight checks out at 27 grams according to my household scale that measures whole grams. Colour OK, tissue test pass, ring tone checks out. It has a few nicks but they are barely visible. Amazing eye appeal. Full luster, almost square rims, almost blast white. I might throw it up in the grading forum, if I can manage taking good photos of it.

Not a bad mix. The Peace dollar does not scream fake to me, but definitely a good idea to show it to the grading regulars.

Today was much more fruitful than I thougt it would be. Two sellers who usually have coins but haven't had lately brought with them some sweets. Today's coins are much more interesting than usual! The notes: 5 Kronor, Sweden 1977 10 Kronor, Sweden 1959 The coins: 25 Penniä, Finland 1943 1 Pfennig, German State of Goslar 1748 (!) ¼ Anna, British East India Company 1835 (!) 5 Öre, Sweden 1909 25 Öre, Sweden 1859 (!) 25 Öre, Sweden 1930 1 Rial, Iran (dateless) 10 Rappen, Switzerland 1902 1 Pound, UK 1983 5 Schilling, Austria (silver) 1 Gulden, Netherlands 1931 (sweet large silver) 5 Centesimos, Chile 1964 50 Centesimos, Chile 1971 50 Centavos, Chile 1975 It's not everyday you see fully identifiable, barely worn 18th century coins on a market like this. Also nice to get an East India coin, my first. The Swedish 25 Öre coin from 1859 isn't particularily rare in itself, but it's very unusual to find here. They are common in coin stores, not here. Sadly, that coin had a jewelry mount on it, not visible on the pics but clealy visible on the edge of the coin. Nonetheless, the coin is pretty worn and as common as it is, it's worth melt anyway. Today's total was 75 SEK. I got the notes for "face value", they aren't legal tender anymore but I haven't cared until now to get them. Sadly the 5-Krona note has a chunk of the corner missing but it's not a high value note anyway. I think the 10-Krona note might catch some slight premium, but only the smallest. Anyway, happy with today. I hope next week brings a lot aswell, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here
