Today didn't go down as impressive as last week, but I still got my fix of bargains. For 16 SEK I got these: 2 Francs, France 1923 & 1925 5 Francs, France 1933 25 Öre, Sweden 1947 ¼ Balboa, Panama 1933 ¼ Dollar, US 2015-P 5 Kroner, Norway 1998 & 1999 The US quarter pales in comparison to the relief on the Panama quarter

Wow, that 5 francs type sure is beautiful, and I had no idea it existed. Seems it's not silver, so shouldn't be too expensive - would try to get one for my collection eventually.

That 1/4 Balboa is a super deal. Nice find.
And the relief is great on those, but it's not fair to compare a modern US quarter with the 1/4 balboa. After about 1990 all US quarters became low relief. You should compare it with a 1932 quarter. Those had nice relief.
My local flea market is this weekend so I hope the coin selections are better than the last couple months.

I know the comparison between the American and Panama quarter isn't fair but it's a comparison noetheless Today almost yielded nothing. After looking around, finding nothing I gave up and had lunch. After my delicious (not quite) meal I had a second look and I picked up a smaller lot: 1 Cash, Chinese Empire (ID help appreciated!) 1 Cent, South Africa 1967 2 Cents, South Africa 1965 1 Kopeyka, Russia 2007 5 Kopeyek, Soviet Union 1977 20 Kopeyek, Soviet Union 1977 To me it seems like I'm going through the same coins I've been looking at for the past month. Something new has to arrive soon! Otherwise there will be no bargains

A nice modest mix is still worth celebrating.

A nice lot nevertheless! And again, thanks for posting. It's a bit like reading someones numismatic diary, this. I hope for you that new stock will be in place soon. We're now past the summer holidays, so hopefully the merchants will find new inspiration for new stock!

Well, some new stuff had appeared today. Not much, but enough to keep me happy. The notes: 5 Kronor, Sweden 1963 10 Kronor, Sweden 1983 (star note) The coins: 25 Öre, Sweden 1898 1 Lats, Latvia 1992 10 Centen, Belgium 1922 Paid 46 SEK for all. These star notes are actually quite common unlike the current (new) series of banknotes. I have personally never found a star note in circulation and I have only seen a few examples of star notes of the older series.

small catch, but it's good that new supplies seem to get in place. Keeping the fingers crossed for next weekend!
ps. I thought all the star notes have been demonetized for quite some time ago?
