Yes, that star note is long gone. There are some star notes of the older series still out there, somewhere. I haven't seen or heard anything of new notes having stars. Today only has a single modest coin on the list: a Danish 25 Øre coin, 1900. As you can see, barely worn (the fine hair details are still there). Got it for 20 SEK. Pretty happy about that

A little bit of rain scares the sellers away. Today was probably an average autumn day that history will have forgotten by tomorrow. Grey skies, dull weather and the occational raildrops had scared away a portion of today's market's sellers. The remaining didn't have anything worth my while. 'Tis the season.

The best thing I found at a flea market was some dude selling American Silver Eagles for 15 dollars when the spot price of silver was 18 dollars. I bought all five of them. He told me he got them at a great price from a druggie. Good for me I guess.

@joeysanders: please have em checked. Most druggies I know don't have silver eagles, so there may still be some cocaine left on them. Which is great, as coke is expensive. (j/k). Anyway, such stories always make me have a gentle alarm bell ringing in my head. Either it's stolen stock, or it's fake, especially when bought under spot. @X2an: You now probably created the most looked at 1900 25 Øre coin of 2016. But still, one coin is better than no coin. Or, as we say in Norway: 'every bit helps', said the mouse, and he peed in the ocean.

UltraRant: I had them checked out. They were for real. I'm glad I was not scammed in any way.

Then you've dona a very good deal (and we won't ask for the source of these eagles. )

Quote: You now probably created the most looked at 1900 25 Øre coin of 2016 I'll probably stay that way. Today was yet ANOTHER day of nuthin'. It's both me being picky with what's there and pretty much nothing new coming up. But it's the dull, rainy, windy and grey month of October, of course no fun can be had We'll see when things start happening.

And yet another week of disappointment. It has been raining pretty much all day today so I didn't even bother leaving home. What else can I say but "it's autumn"?

Ouch. Seems like when it gets wet, the finds run dry.

The weather forecast for Stockholm for the upcoming weekend is fantastic, though! Let's hope this comes true and let's hope the dealers now had enough time to restock!
