looking for conformation from you guys before I buy. price is high for non attributed but low for this VAM and looks like it to me but I want a couple opinions before I go through with it.

If this were a 14.5 it would easily pull top pop and the bidding would already be under way.

I checked the other VAMs with A1d reverse and none of the markers are there. atleast the visible ones. VAM-7 is the evil twin of 14.5 and none of the doubling is visible in photos. its not a vam-6,7 or 14.9. 14.8 is out of the equation because there is no visible metal in the first 8. which leaves 14.5. if it doesn't get too crazy I'm going to throw a bid on it. 20hours to go

I'm seeing VAM-21, not worth real attention until at least MS64. Other things being inconclusive, look closely at the reverse die cracks. They do not lie and the rest argues circumstantially in its' favor. The waters of the auction are too frenzied.

I agree with Ddave, 21 it is. Look at the second full plate reverse photo, it's a smoking gun.
