Wow Ed, after looking at listings on VAMworld, I would conclude one would have to be a glutton for punishment to collect 1922 VAMs. There is no less than 30 or 40 listings for reverse doubling with many having the obverse die crack on the neck.
Yeah, I agree. It's a very big ballpark. I was aiming at the fact that most of the MS63 VAMs sell for a nice premium, and was trying to decide if this was a good buy. So far at $34 it looks good, but will probably jump at the end.
I could see double rays above the wing next to "ONE" which is a VAM BUT, I also see "AR" of dollar doubled which is not part of the same VAM. this is very difficult to determine from photos did you snipe it?
Few Peace dollar VAMs carry any significant premium. Too few collect them by variety; even though there are rare and cool varieties the demand simply isn't there.
