Hi Everyone
I have a small Indian? coin that I cannot identify.
It appears to be silver and measures 15mm diameter.
If you can help it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
Bill

I think this is a coin of one of the older Islamic dynasties that were in India before the Moghul invasion. Likely a Sultans of Delhi 6 gani from circa 716-720 AH - ish.

EDIT - yes it is - ruler is Qutb-ud-din Mubarak 1316-20 AD

Thank you Bacchus2 for the information. I'd been trying unsuccessfully myself for ages. You're a star!
Any rough idea of it's value?

Not really that valuable. There's a similar one on ebay india at the moment - yours might be a 6 or 4 gani - depends on weight -

This will probably sell for £5 or thereabouts
