My earliest Proof, graded PR-65BN by NGC. US Patterns count as classics, right?

macmercury-You are right about that 38 S. It was as hard to find a clean 38 S as it was to find a toned 45 S in that grade. They just don't come along that often.

Beautiful Morgan AcesKing. Those darn Morgans are another reason I'll never finish my Mercury dime set. But with Morgans like yours, that's okay.

Thanks FSR, I actually debated whether to buy this one or not because of the dark splotches around the rim. But, the frosty design elements won me over.

You know Ace...Every coin has something special & unique about it. I have a couple 79S Morgans as well. A MS65 & MS67. I like yours as much as either one of mine. It just has the look. I have a few coins in my NGC custom set. They range from AU58 to MS67......Ugly to beautiful. But I like all of them. Those dark sploshes are what makes your Morgan.
