Toning, Really? Can Someone Explain This One To Me?

It says (toning) but seriously, this looks like it's been in a fire! But then it wouldn't be graded MS 64, right? Has anyone seen toning like this? Report this Post to the Staff

moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 12/11/2016 8:58 pm GC lists every coin that isn't white or red as toned to protect from those who really dislike toning as well as for those who love toning. The obverse has been laying exposed while the reverse was protected from whatever elements that did that nasty toning. Technical grade is not affected by toning. Market grade is.
