New update on the sales total for the 2015 JFK Chronicles set:
Sales through midnight, Sept. 20 amount to 48,462 sets.
Looks like we very well could see a sellout this week.

Got my two sets today and did a quick cursory exam. Both the dollar coins might go 69 as both have some flaws in the frost of the fields. Neither dollars have any hope of a going 70.
Both the medals are very nice.
I'm just glad to have them to add to my collection.

Got my two today, Father-in-law got his two also. No chance at 70's for the RP. all 4 have spot under liberty's arm right over $1. looks like it rubbed something there. Overall better than the Ike's I got.
The medals look great. All 4 look to be 70's easy. No marks or spots at all.

Got mine, one of em I'm very happy with the medal but the coin has a couple of speckles on the reverse that reflect similar to the proof liberty and Kennedy (like as if whatever they use to make liberty and Kennedy shine hit a couple small areas on the reverse during the manufacture). The second set has heavy milk spotting on the obverse of the medal and some spots on the obverse of the dollar coin. The one with the milk spotting is definitely going back with the other one probably going in the collection and just wait for LBJ to grade those and redeem my credit. Very happy with the BRP P-Mint 5oz I got though.

Quote: My tracking number says it was in town here on Saturday - but nothing in my mailbox today My Ike sets got hung up between FedEx and the local P.O. for three days. I figured they got dropped on the floor somewhere and finally someone saw them! Four days after tracking showed they had arrived in town they finally showed up in my mailbox!

Quote: Well, Loverboy was wrong. Everybody is not Working for the Weekend, at least not at FedEx. I beg to differ. Everyone may be working for the weekend, but not on the weekend. Like my Ikes, these Kennedys are coming to Austin by way of Mississippi --> Dallas --> Houston --> Austin. And they're somewhere between Houston and Austin at the moment, with an ETA of Thursday still. Sheesh. Whatever, I'll let the logistics gurus figure out the efficiencies, just as long as my sets get here!
