Always hate the moments you want but can't buy right now..

I have an example of the date back version already and saw this plain back for sale today. I don't see very many from this bank (my hometown). I bought the date back about 15 years ago. I'll just wait for it to pop up again and hopefully I have the extra cash set aside to buy it than

There have been offerings of Plain Backs on this bank over the years.

Heritage sold 2 different $5's back in 2013. Lyn Knight sold one in 2011. Lyn Knight also sold a Red Seal in 2008.

MY NBN Census CD says there are 41 PB's in the census. The trial version of Track & Price expired on me, so I am unable to see what it says.

While not a PB, Horwedel's has a $20 DB as well as all 3 small size denominations http://horwedelscurrency.com/oscomm...rt/2a/page/1

If I come across any in upcoming sales, I'd be happy to post the links in this thread if you want me to.

Under 3 hours left and no bids. Maybe it's a sign that you deserve the note and now have an extra few days when it gets relisted to gather up the money.

gotta love the iowa bills. I've wanted a cedar rapids iowa note for a while but keep spending my money else where.

I just got home from looking at a collection for sale, and the entire time I was looking at the notes I was thinking about this thread. To make matters worse the guy pulled out a diamondworks Breitling watch to make the deal even harder to turn down. I could pick up the notes and watch for around 10 grand. The watch is older and needs a good service which could easily run $1000 or more, but it's almost too tempting to pass up. Now I need to figure out how to get the cash together and what to buy the wife to soften the shock of what I'm thinking of spending.
