By the way; If anyone here has NZ coins they don't particularly want, I'll swap them for Aussie coins. Commems, CoF's, errors, straight face value swap if anyone's interested.
I'll buy them at FV + post if you just want to get rid of them.
These are ones I don't need as I already have heaps of them:
20¢:1967, 1975, 1976, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1986, 1987,1988.
10¢:1980, 1988,
5¢:1967, 1987, 2002, 2003
I'll take any others, as well as Fiji, PNG, GB.

Nancy, I have been throwing duplicate kiwis (and tikis), Fiji and 10p back. So I have kept 13 NZ 20¢ back and will contact you soon to give you dates and let you know which dates I am missing. And my finds -from $400 of 20¢; - Centenary of Federation -3 x Vic, 2 each NSW & Qld, 1 each NT, Norfolk, WA & ACT
- 3 x UN anniversary
- 5 x Bradman
- 1 x 2003 volunteers kept because of condition
- 2 x 2005 coming home kept
- 1 x Fiji South Pacific games
- Only one NZ not a duplicate of what I already have (and 13 Nancy might want)
- 15 assorted years in much better than usual condition
- One 2004 bighead
Not one 1985 again although should be at least as common as any CoF on mintage figures or nearly seven times more common than bigheads And Mrs J brought home 2001 ACT 50¢ and an almost uncirculated 1983 50¢ -she has been keeping an eye out for 2007 for me and says keeps seeing 2005 or 2006 and thought this would be another late date. She still hasn't got a 2007 yet. Jeff

Sharing info also seems to bring good karma. Since posting the info on the 94 wide 50 cent zaggy, found my first one in a couple of months. Really nice strike and only light handling marks. Looks as though has not been long removed from a set, but does have fingerprints and a couple of circ marks now, so GOOD EF to aUnc. Only a 6.6mm date though.
Also a nice aEF 1993 50 cent, and a 2003 50 cent with very strong letter doubling obv inc all letters, IRB and base of queens neck, but not the queens hair or face.
Also have picked up 14 07 50 cent now, and 5 have the doubling and frosting in the field lower reverse. Anyone else noticing a lot of these?

I know how you feel Zaggy. I have been flat out at uni myself and I haven't had a chance to noodle myself. I need a holiday!!!

Nancy. Let me know if you are still looking for some NZ coins and I'll see what I can do. I have spares of most of the 20c pieces especially (but not all) in various condition. I have managed to get a full NZ 20c set from circulation in Australia. That includes the very hard to find 2005 20c piece! Unfortunately I have only found one of these though.
I have some of the other countries as well but I'm not sure what exactly.

Ben, I tried to reply to your earlier message, but it also 'bounced' back with the same message. The reason you got the 2nd one is because I sent it through CCF. I don't understand why direct emails to you are bouncing, but perhaps someone who reads this may have an idea or two about it.

$50 of 5¢ yielded 3 x 2007, zero 1972 , and in the last $2 worth a 2006 tilted collar. There were a few various Cuds, chin, cheek but nothing else I considered extraordinary.
