All you guys complaining about wanting more sets, yet I'm here paying 15 us dollars on ebay for just one set...

Do you have someone in Canada who just can order it?
Or - try to ask someone here who ordered *really many* sets to sell you one at cost + shipping....

true, but please remember - these are circulation commemorative coins, and not "collectors NCLT"
In addition, the second version of the quarter is without the paint.

I personally think this is the best looking colored circulation coin to date. Hope it looks that good in hand.

I like the new coins as well and hopefully I can find a complete roll of them! Does any one know what banks businesses may have the poppy rolls (maybe tim hortons or the canada post locations)

I usually just purchase rolls on from Colonial Acres. I buy other stuff with them as well to only pay the reduced shipping. Usually ends up being $14 a roll shipping inc but there's no bank around here that get them. So gotta do what you gotta do :).

I just saw that ANGUS COINS has the $5 set listed for $199.95, not sure why! Is there anything special about this set? Do you think it's mispriced?

They are advertising it as a presale so I am guessing they made a mistake on the price, was probably supposed to be $19.95.

It's certainly over hype, although an admirable theme, these coins are just circulation units in a plastic film wait a few weeks you make as many set as you want.

I emailed him here was the response.

Is this a typo or incorrect pricing?

It is correct, I just dont want to sell my last one.

- anguscoinshop

But it lists in his ad he has more on order

I will not likely do any business with this coin company now or in the future

They do that so they can hold their listing position, if someone actually bought it I would hope they would tell them the difference, er well at least that is why I think they do it.

John100, I know many of my pick up banks where the tellers have only seen 1 or 2 of the flag coins. I did not think that there was a shortage of these, but people are still selling rolls of these for $15 to $20.

IMHO, the new poppy quarter looks much more appealing than the flag quarter, so I think these will also be tough to find in circulation.

Get together with other collectors or a coin club and order bulk boxes of these special coins from the bulk coin department in Winnipeg, one time handing fee, plus shipping. This is how dealers get their rolls
