While passing near my bank branch, entered to load some Rememrance rolls, packs and cards - whatever they have. But the teller told someting like this "if mister wants some quarter rolls, yes, I can bring. But I can not know, which quarters are they: regular or commemorative or mixed"

@punman Mine were all shrink wrapped, I think the only paper wrapped coins from the RCM are the 50 cent pieces. @john100 I would have to disagree as to the value. All other poppy coins still demand a premium over face value, even the 2004 poppy coins which are often faded. Regardless of future value they are a great looking coin especially the $2 coin.

The original poppy quarters mintage was over 10 million, this coin probably close to or more, that's enough for everyone eventually to find. You can buy all you can carry at GTA shows of the original poppies at around 15.00 to 20.00 a roll, it seems like the RCM has vastly improved their colouring process.

I'm looking for some extras if anyone could pick rolls from the Winnipeg mint. Please pm me. I hope someone can help out. The poppys are very nice. I wonder if the mint store sells the $5 packs. This are great for gifts, especially foreign friends. I'm in a small town and the banks don't get new change. They just recirculate customer coins.
I'm also looking for the Canada flag packs, as I was in hospital and missed those. I got 1 in change when I was in edm. It was the non colored one. I went through 5 rolls and didn't find any. I found only Olympic quarters. Those seem plentiful. It may take lots of coin roll hunting!

Got a couple of poppy quarters as change when I bought an adult beverage at the Senators game last night.

Some research is going on at the other forum: **seems to be banks not willing to give these new Poppy coins to people (I entered second time to my branch and teller told, that he will try to put aside for me 2-3 coins) **seems to be low population of coloured coins (2-5 per roll) **people trying to get not the coins or packs, but rolls or boxes from all the places - looks like these will be crazy hit from RCM (bought from ebay 3 coins, each one CAD 3, and I thought it is success....)

@Silveroid, you could be right. I think the general population love these poppy themed coins and don't want to use them unless they have to. Just for fun, I'm going to try and hoard as many as I can.

The coloured ones will be the rarest I guess, since 2-3 per roll, I am seriously considering buying 50 rolls for $581 opening them all and keeping all the coloured ones, hopefully 150 (3 per roll so 3x50) and depositing the rest, this way I will be paying approx $119 for 150 coloured coins, less than $1 per coloured coin

Thanks , Justsilver, for exact numbers The above means that: or there are "Full coloured" rolls exists - these items will be SuperB rarity find; or the mintage of the coloured is less, than not coloured - in this case, couple of dollars per coin on ebay - this is good find.

No, I mean CAD 2 - 3 per coin and not a pack.
That one in the listing, just colorizing defect. Could raise some interest, but not special attention.

Quote: No, I mean CAD 2 - 3 per coin and not a pack. No the first link is for "one" colorized 25 cent coin. $20 us , ships world wide, I guess they are trying to get an international sale at $20 us. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2015-CANADA-...3&rmvSB=trueCould work, if you look at some of Australia's 2015 colored poppy coins they are selling for like $20 plus.
