PS - just a thought for those following this thread. In regards that 1941, fellow CRH enthusiasts just starting out should note that it's very possible to find early Jeffersons in high grades like this one. The majority of my Jefferson collection is AU or better from roll finds. Even the earlier Jeffersons are VF or better. It may take longer to find them, but they are out there!

The '41D has been the elusive one on the current circulation set of Lincolns I've been working on (albeit slowly). Tougher here on the East Coast, but we do see our share of D mint specimens.

Although none are good enough to take pictures of, I have found 17 1940 Jeffersons- 10 P, 1 D and 6 S.
