Well, this is the second oldest date I can post. Some really great finds here - now we're getting into the good years! Keep up the posts!  The penny I have here came about a few months before they were withdrawn, and the nickel was found some time after.

This one sorta counts:  A customer spent this at my old job, and it was snatched up by a cashier. I bought it off of said cashier for $5. This was in 2008. The customer was informed that the coin was worth a lot more than 50 cents, but she flatly said that she didn't care and it wasn't worth the effort to sell it.
