@ace, Have you found any 1922 cent or nickel from the wild?

One step closer to a blank spot in my folder. I'm checking with my brother to see if we found one but haven't heard back yet.

Nice finds Yinzi. 1922 will be tough. Hopefully someone from my side of the border has a nickel because the small cent is a key date similar to the 1922 D.

I'm glad I found this thread today before I missed some more years! I have a few coins I can show off that I got from my stepdad last week. I have yet a few more from a couple years back as well. For today I'll show off my 1923 Peace dollar! My phone doesn't take the best pictures, but I think they make a good enough point. They're out there!

Let's take a look at the 1922 mintage situation:
P D S
Cent 0 7,160,000 0
Nickel 0 0 0
dime 0 0 0
Quarter 0 0 0
Half 71,661* 0 0
$ 51,737,000 15,063,000 17,475,000
*Commemorative half dollar: Ulysses S. Grant Memorial
Related foreign coins possibly found in US rolls (or in their own country):
Canadian
1 cent 1,243,635 (in US cent roll, or Canadian cent roll, but it's a key date)
5 Cent 4,794,119 (in US Nickel roll, reject bin; or Canadian Nickel roll)
GB
1 penny 16,347,000 (in US half roll, almost the same size, however discontinued in UK)
Switzerland
10 rappen 2,000,000 (in US dime roll)
So my hope is: (decreasing possibility) a) find a 1922 Canadian Nickel in Nickel boxes; b) find a 1922 GB 1 penny, or Grant Memorial in Half boxes; c) find a 1922 Switzerland 10 rappen in dime boxes; d) find a 1922 Silver Peace dollar in teller's tray or in reject bin.

Continuing on with my finds is this 1922 Peace dollar, yet another one from my stepdads store. This find is probably around 5 years old.
